Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy covers ready5 subscriptions and extra Full Panels, published by Out of Towners Media LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Free use
ready5 has a free level with limited use. You are not charged for it, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
How billing works
Paid subscriptions are bought and billed through Google Play, using the payment method on your Google account. We never see or store your card details. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as shown when you subscribe) until you cancel.
Extra Full Panels
ready5 Pro includes 2 Full Panels a week. Pro members can buy an extra Full Panel as a one-time purchase through Google Play (the price is shown before you buy). It doesn't renew. Your included panels are always used first; an extra panel is used only after them, and only once the panel's follow-up question is written, so opening a panel and leaving doesn't use it. If a panel fails on our side before the follow-up is written, it isn't used. Extra panels don't expire, and you keep ones you've bought if your subscription ends. They are tied to your ready5 account, and deleting the account deletes any you haven't used.
How to cancel
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose ready5 and tap Cancel subscription.
You can cancel at any time. After you cancel, you keep your paid access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. To avoid a charge for the next period, cancel before the renewal date.
Deleting the ready5 app, or deleting your ready5 account, does not cancel your subscription. Please cancel in Google Play first.
Refunds
Because purchases are processed by Google Play, Google handles refunds. In general, payments are non-refundable and we don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law or by Google Play's policies, or as described below.
- Ask Google Play. Google lets you request a refund for a Google Play purchase in some circumstances. Search "refund a Google Play purchase" in Google Play Help for the current steps and time limits.
- Ask us. If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or couldn't use the paid features or an extra Full Panel because of a problem on our side, email support@ootmedia.com within 14 days of the charge. Include the email address on your Google account and the order number from your Google Play receipt. We review every request in good faith, and if we approve a refund, we issue it through Google Play.
- Extra Full Panels. If an extra panel you bought is refunded before you use it, it's removed from your account.
Free trials and price changes
If we offer a free trial, you will be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. If the price of a subscription changes, Google Play will tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
If we end your subscription
If we end a paid subscription for any reason other than your breach of the Terms of Service, or if we stop offering ready5, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the law where you live.
